AM Medical Days

AM Medical Days is a conference that pursues innovation change in the medical sector. Medical doctors, hospital representatives, medical technology manufacturers, licensing authorities, health insurances, and educators will have the opportunity to connect with AM solution providers, i.e. software providers, material suppliers, printer manufacturers and service providers to discuss the question: How to pursue the change for customary use of additive technologies.

The conference is organized along three strategic application areas of 3D printing in the medical sector and two overarching themes.

Health Capital Berlin Brandenburg

As a first-class life sciences and IT location, the German capital region offers optimal conditions for the development of innovative processes such as additive manufacturing for the healthcare sector. In order to increasingly exploit this potential, the 3D Printing Network Mobility/Medical goes Additive was founded with the aim of launching innovative 3D printing products together with users, R&D institutes, consulting companies, machine and material manufacturers, AM service providers and software providers. In addition, the Industrial Additive Manufacturing Hub Berlin (IAM Hub) provides a focal point for young 3D printing companies and scientific institutes to develop innovative ideas and implement groundbreaking 3D printing projects. AMBER

With AMBER, an AM innovation network and a new regional umbrella brand are being created on behalf of the Berlin Senate with significant participation by Berlin Partner. The aim is to create a platform for players from the fields of business and science to tap regionally available competencies as well as synergies.

In Berlin, innovations in Additive Manufacturing are currently being supported in 12 research and development projects with over 13 million euros in approved funding from the AMBER Call. By the end of 2025, high-tech innovations "made in Berlin" will be created with a total of 25 regional partners from universities, research institutions and companies.
