AI Radiology Pioneer mediaire Raises €12 Million for Global Expansion

Berlin-based healthtech company mediaire has secured €12 million in European-led financing to expand its AI-powered radiology solutions globally, according to a company press release. The funding round was led by LBO France, with participation from IBB Ventures and Swiss family office Wille Finance.
Unlike many AI applications still in experimental phases, mediaire's technology is already operational in over 350 European hospitals and clinics. The company's AI solutions assist radiologists with MRI diagnostics for brain, prostate, and knee imaging, helping to streamline workflow and improve diagnostic accuracy.
The fresh capital will enable mediaire to expand its diagnostic portfolio and scale operations. Current investors HTGF, LIFTT, and Gateway Ventures also participated in the oversubscribed round, demonstrating continued confidence in the company's growth trajectory.

The company has established partnerships with major healthcare institutions and industry leaders, including Bayer/Calantic, Sectra, and radiology chains like Med360 and RIMED/UNILABS.
