Berlin VCs P9 (Point Nine Capital) and Vireo joined the Berlin Angel Fund and others when they said yes to €5M series A for climate tech startup ampere.cloud, who make digital equipment for renewable energy power plants. Founders Frederik Merz, Erik Nitschke and Florian Strunck are thrilled and will use the funding to expand into European markets and push product development, as Silicon Canals reports. Their aim is to “transform the energy sector on a global scale” with their all-in-one operating system for sustainable energy. If you own or operate a renewables plant, particularly photovoltaic, ampere.cloud can help with automated monitoring, connecting your facilities to energy traders, a communications layer, and much more.
