Enpal Goes International
The good people of Enpal have been leasing solar panels to homeowners in Germany for about 10 years. Now the company has sealed an equity deal including €275 M from abroad, as Business Insider reports. Blackrock from New York provided a sizeable chunk, which is interesting because previously they have only invested in large scale solar parks rather than private installations. The future is looking bright for Berlin company Enpal and founder Mario Kohle (whose surname, in a double irony, means ‘coal’ – which word in colloquial German is often also used to refer to money!).
