For the Wirtschaftswoche ranking, the employer branding consultancy Universum asks around 500 HR managers in companies each year which universities they prefer to recruit from and what they look for when selecting personnel. The focus is on business and industry-related degree courses. Wirtschaftswoche lists the results separately for universities and universities of applied sciences (HAW).
