If They Can Make It There – Leapsome in New York

We recently called Leapsome a ‘soonicorn’, since with their last round of funding they are well on the way to cracking the billion dollar valuation. Now tech.eu reports that the HR company for ‘people enablement’ has opened an office in New York, fulfilling its promise to investors to tackle the US market. The product allows HR departments to automate staff feedback and training, and integrates with tools such as Slack or Microsoft Teams. Of the 1,500 companies using it, approximately 500 are already in the US, counting for about 20% of revenue, according to Marc-Alexander Vetter. But it will be co-CEO Jenny von Podewils leading expansion in America. With the move, “We underline our ambition to build a global company and global category,” she says.
