To increase your own productivity and efficiency, you need to absorb information effortlessly and to receive little reminders in those moments when you need the information. This is what the app Amie promises, a mix of “personal CRM”, calendar, and todo list. You can easily drag events as well as tasks into the two calendar views, so you always know what you are supposed to be doing. All this functionality so that you never forget a birthday again. To get something done, put it in your calendar and assign a time to it, according to founder Dennis Mueller. Amie hopes to compete with the many apps in this space by combining all the features in a particularly easy user experience that is more seamless than Google’s or Microsoft’s solutions. The Berlin team is to grow in 2023, supported by a recent seed round of €7M, as reported by TechCrunch. Among the investors are Creandum and Quickcoffee Ventures.
