The Fast and the Innovative – Growing Berliners

Many Berlin-based companies are showing signs of pushing towards the roof – if they haven’t gone through it already. Enpal solar panels, for example, has achieved a 2,500% four-year growth rate and has reached unicorn status. Local competition Zolar managed nearly 500%. Carl Finance, the platform for finding a successor to take over an owner run business, has a four-year growth rate of 2,126%. Not quite as spectacular but also doing well by anyone’s standards are modern debt collectors Pair Finance with a 780% growth rate in the same period. Other notables are video content company Show Heroes, shopping tech Releva, Interaid with their ‘compare the heating oil market’ platform, and ad tech company Crossengage. All of these Berlin companies and more – 12 out of the German TOP 50 – are listed in Deloitte’s new ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Germany.
