The Largest European Seed Stage Fund
Berlin-based VC firm 468 Capital has launched Fund II, at $400 the largest seed-stage fund in Europe, as Gruenderszene reports. The investment strategy behind the new fund focuses on companies with global ambitions, particularly in Europe and the United States, and on technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, software, as well as marketplaces and consumer-centric solutions. 468 was only founded in 2020, but has already raised a total of $1.3 billion and made more than 50 investments. Co-founder Alexander Kudlich led the company’s investment in, among others, Mayd (we reported). “Consumers increasingly expect goods and services to be delivered almost immediately,” he says.
