After initial financing in Berlin from the likes of embedded / capital, Maximilian Tayenthal, and Scalable Capital founder Erik Podzuweit, getquin has secured an international Series A round of $15 M, as tech.eu reports. The social network for angels promises a place where you can “interact with a community of like-minded investors”. The concept seems to work in the German-speaking world, so now the company wants to expand into English. Users, and there are already over 200.000 of them, “mostly trust their connections and communities when it comes to financial information” rather than traditional channels, says Christian Rokitta, co-founder and CEO.
